Been planning and training for 70 miles wilderness trek in New Mexico with my 14 year old son for over a year. COVID 19 has redirected our focus but we will find the silver lining and complete the journey together somehow. This is not a once in a lifetime experience with my son I will allow to be missed!!!! My avocation is motorcycle touring and camping. Most everything that applies to backpacking also applies to motorcycle touring/camping. Everything needs to be compact lightweight and functional. Try getting all of your basic camping gear into one saddlebag and you’ll see what I mean.
