Initial Thoughts on the Biolite Dash 450 Headlamp

The BioLite Dash 450 Headlamp is a great choice for anyone who likes options. Featuring a variety of settings, the Dash 450 even has a red light in the rear so you can be illuminated in front and in back. I love the 4-point tilt feature in the front and how comfortable this headlamp is. It’s my new go-to for outdoor pursuits of all kinds.

Pros Cons
  • It’s comfortable and very bright
  • Not the lightest headlamp on the market
  • This headlamp has a ton of different light options, including a red light in the rear
  • A bit bulky/clunky if you’re used to a more simplistic headlamp
  • Rechargeable via USB – no batteries are needed.
