Initial Thoughts on the MSR Access 3
The MSR Access 3 Tent is a spacious and lightweight 4-season tent that’s ready for year-round use. I have used the tent a few times in the mountains, the desert, and on the coast. It sheds rain and wind well, and the large vestibule has plenty of space for multiple backpacks.
I haven’t yet tested it in the snow, but from what I’ve seen so far, this would make an excellent winter tent for those who like to explore the snowy backcountry. I’ll be taking it snowshoeing as soon as I can.
