Initial Thoughts on the Norrøna Trollveggen Superlight Down850 Jacket

This lightweight jacket packs a ton of warmth into a small package. I’ve been throwing this into my backpack and bike bags for all my mountain adventures this winter and it’s worked like a champ every time I needed it, although l all but forgot about it when I didn’t thanks to the low weight. I’ve been really enjoying the fit of this jacket as it has a bit of extra length compared to other similar jackets I’ve used. It’s snug but not athletic fitting and it layers very well.

Pros Cons
  • Incredible warmth-to-weight ratio
  • A touch fragile
  • Looks great
  • You can feel the waist cinch on this jacket
  • Packs up super small
