Initial Thoughts on the PAKA Women’s Alpaca Thermal Crew

PAKA’s lightweight, yet toasty thermal baselayers provide plenty of warmth and flexibility for exploring in the chillier temps. The 2×2 Rib Knit material provides plenty of stretch and comfort. These pieces may be a bit expensive, however, it is worth the peace of mind as this brand always puts quality, non-toxic materials at the top of their list.
I typically wear a small, but due to inventory constraints needed to go with an XS on both the crew and bottoms – however, I was pleasantly surprised to find they both still fit great. Having thumbholes is always a major plus in my book as my hands are constantly running cold!
Pros Cons
  • Made from their highest percentage of alpaca ever
  • Material was s little itchy on my sensitive skin to start, but improved over time with wear
  • There’s some wiggle room in the sizing given the stretchiness of the material
  • Limited color/size inventory
