Initial Thoughts on Ruff Bar Ruff Food

An all-natural, backpacking meal for your pups! Almost all of my outdoor adventures include my four-legged partner in crime, Sarabi, and I’ve been super grateful to have Ruff Food as an easy and healthy meal option for her while out on the trail or away on our weekend camping trips.

Not only is it freeze-dried, making it super lightweight and convenient to pack, but it’s also made with real raw ingredients – just add some water to the bowl to rehydrate!  The simple and organic ingredients make this super easy to digest, even for the most sensitive of stomachs – like Sarabi’s.

You also cannot find a better small business to support, the owner is a passionate dog-lover and has a wealth of knowledge – she will always go above and beyond to ensure you and your pup are well taken care of!

Pros Cons
  • Great variety of proteins available
  • If you have multiple large dogs, this may be better suited as a topper or partial meal replacement, as opposed to their entire meal (as you would go through it quickly)
  • Also available in the form of easy-open bars (Ruff Bars)
