Initial Thoughts on the Shimoda Designs Action X50 V2
An outdoor backpack with all the functionality of a hiking pack with the added organization for camera gear.
This pack shines on tough hikes and rugged conditions. I have used it for long hikes in alpine environments and it’s been loaded down with water, gear, and camera equipment.
The vest harness system works very well and the large pockets up front are great for storing a phone or snacks. I found it to carry exceptionally well.
I liked having all my outdoor gear stored in one area and my camera kit in another. It’s one of the most weatherproof packs I’ve used.
