Unique Features of the LARQ Bottle PureVis

So, how does the LARQ Bottle PureVis work? It uses UV-C LED light to eliminate 99.9999% of bio-contaminants from the water inside the bottle, as well as the interior of the bottle itself.

Proprietary UV-C LED Technology

The proprietary PureVis UV-C LED technology destroys bacteria and viruses at the molecular level, destroying their DNA and effectively eliminating them as a water-borne risk.

The UV-C LEDs last 40 times longer than conventional mercury-based UV technology. Those LEDs are powered by a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery that you can keep powered with the included MicroUSB to USB connector cable—the bottle can be charged by nearly any power source!

Manual and Automatic Purification

The LARQ Bottle PureVis purifies water in three different ways.

Press the icon at the center to activate. Plug in the USB to recharge.

First, you can turn on Normal Mode by pressing the flush button at the center of the top of the cap. A single press activates a 60-second purification cycle. This is accompanied by a “breathing” sky blue light around the edge of the cap.

Second, you can turn on Adventure Mode for an extra dose of purification power. This is useful if you’re hiking in the woods or desert and need to collect water from a gnarly-looking pond or puddle. Press the cap button twice to activate a three-minute cleansing cycle represented by a pulsing blue light.

And lastly, the LARQ Bottle PureVis will intelligently activate itself every two hours to ensure that your water remains clean and pure. This self-cleaning mode consists of a 10-second cycle that also puts on a sky blue display.

You can purchase a Travel Sleeve that adds a touch more insulation while also providing a luxurious grip and a fashionable leather loop and handle strap. Also, the Active Loop adds a layer of protection for the cap in addition to a detachable carabiner for easier carrying.
