Mission Workshop’s Atlas Pay Homage To Classic French Chore Coat

There’s no denying that the French Chore Coat is a classic workwear design.

It offers not only a lot of benefits for colder weather living but also works well with a suit when layered with a sweater or jacket.

The Mission Workshop Atlas coat pays homage to this classic design by using the same 4-way stretch textile that they’ve tested and abused for years on the Mission Jean.

The Atlas coat incorporates performance materials, triple-needle stitching, and a next-generation DWR treatment to resist light rain and hasten drying while staying true to the utility and simplicity of its French workwear origins.

The brand’s experts layered mil-spec 520E from Tweave to strengthen the high-wear regions like elbows, forearms, and shoulders.

The coat also has a tack button front closing that is strong enough to survive a lifetime of demanding use, as well as four practical bucket-style pockets for convenient gear storage.

The Atlas is made in Brooklyn, New York City, using materials from Italy and the USA.
