    Thanks for the opportunity.

  55. shaffersays:

for anyone interested, i have a cortazu shell and fleece. they are awesome. super comfy, the fleece is toasty warm without being bulky. the shell is nice and heavy, sheds water like nothing else i’ve owned and snazzy as all get out.

  56. Hiking is one of the things that help keep me Alive and Moving. On March 6,2003 I was hit Head-On on my Harley by a guy that was drinking and doing 80mph. Stupid me I wasn’t wearing my helmet and suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury and my Left leg was so badly damaged and became badly infected and they sent the next 8yrs trying to tell me they’d have to cut it off the infection was so bad and spreading and it would have to come off to save my life. Well I fought hard and it took 8yrs and lots of drugs but I beat the infection and saved my left leg. Since then I did a NoBo Thru Hike of the Appalachian trail in 2010 and then in 2011 I did a flip flop of the Appalachian Trail finishing at Harper’s Ferry. Then in 2012 I solo Canoed the Mighty Mississippi From Lake Itasca to the Gulf of Mexico. Then I hiked the Ice Age Trail in Wisconsin in 2013 and since then I’ve made 2 attempts to Hike the Pacific Crest Trail and One Attempt at the Continental Divide Trail. My biggest problem is money for newer and lighter gear. This year I’m heading back down to Campo California and starting another NoBo of the Pacific Crest Trail. Hiking helps keep me Alive !! Winning is the only way I’ll be able to get and try newer lighter gear…. See you on the Trail !!
