  23. Well, I Do Some Day Hiking.. However, It’s Photographing Wildlife, In Natural Habitats That Has interested Our Family Group Over The Years. There Doesn’t Seem To Be As Much Interest In Preserving Wild-Life These Days, Because Nature Studies Arent Often Taught In The Elementary School Grades, As They Once Were Taught. Many Children Have Little Or No Knowledge About Even The Wildlife Present In The Area In Which They Reside. It Was Normal For My Dad To Get Us Up At 5:00 AM To Gather-UP “Bait-Ball, Chicken Livers & Night -Crawler Worms To Go Morning”Cat-Fishing. At That Time, The River was So Clean & Clear That One Could See The Rocks In Its Bottom. And, We Young Ones Once Brought Home A Few “Mud-Kittens” And Returned Them, To The Same Location Little River-Spot, The Next Day., Like The Kids All Used To Do. .We Were SO Elated, Back Then, When We Got To Turn-IN Our Little Bamboo “Kiddy Fishing Poles” For “Real ZebCo Rod & Reel-Type Fishing Gear”.
And, The Proper Preparation Of “Freshly-Caught”, The Secret Formula, Batter-Breaded CatFish Permeated Our Saturday Summer-Brunch-Time Home. A Couple Of Foraging Chicken Hawks, Perched Upon A Building Or A Wooden Fence-Top, Then, In Our Little City, Was Not UN-Common. Folks KNEW NOT To Mess With Them. Fussy Bluejays, Stately Cardinals & Tiny Work-A-Holic Mother Wrens Frequently Måde Their Nests In Our Neighborhood Trees. And, A Spring “Wake-UP, For School”, Found The Morning Air Wreaking With The Smell From The Thatches Of Daffodils Or Narcissus Bulbs In Full Bloom. Those Were The Days!!

  24. I Already Posted The Required Comments. They Appear ABOVE This Spot.

  25. The City Area, In Which We Live , Was Once Replete With WildLife. Some Of That Is Gone Now, With a increased Urbanization. It’s Nice To See Your WildLife & Nature Study Interests.

  26. John P Barkleysays:

I haven’t been to Yosemite since I was a teenager and I’m in my mid-60s. What a wonderful trip!

  27. Jill Brycesays:

  30. Priscillasays:

this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me. I was diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of the Covid shutdown. I am presently cancer-free, and embracing all the wonder that life offers. I’m planning a cross-country trip, to walk and hike the natural beauty of the world. I’ll be photographing my way through – and blogging, vlogging, and podcasting.

  31. Sam Kettlesays:

    Best of luck to everybody!

  32. Amanda Santersays:

    Would love to win!
