Initial Thoughts on the BOTE Breeze Aero

The BOTE Breeze Aero Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board is a fun and versatile SUP for calm waters. It’s a great SUP for first-timers interested in relaxing on a placid lake, cruising through reed-strewn wetlands, and freshwater fishing.

I was impressed by its stability — and so was my dog Huckleberry. There are many useful attachment points — and BOTE offers a wide variety of accessories so you can tune your SUP to be anything from an all-out stealth fishing rig to a party platform.

Pros Cons
  • Stable on flat water and mobile in moving water.
  • MAGNEPOD tech basically requires brand-specific accessories.
  • Multiple attachment points to secure accessory equipment.
  • The inflation/deflation locking valve can be difficult to adjust into the correct position.
  • Grippy, textured top surface provides great traction for feet at gear.
