Initial Thoughts on the REI Co-op First Chair Gtx ePE Jacket

This windproof and waterproof jacket is the perfect companion for a day on the trails or slopes. It’s stuffed with cool features like a helmet-friendly hood, powder skirt, media port, fuzzy pockets, and more for maximum comfort and function.

I love the unique look, comfy fit, and all the bells and whistles. Not a bad fall jacket to keep you warm and dry, too!

Pros Cons
  • Powder skirt keeps you dry when needed and snaps away when you don’t need it.
  • I don’t love the look of the big square pockets on the front, but that’s just a personal preference.
  • Fuzzy lining keeps your chin happy when the jacket is zipped all the way up.
  • Seems to run a bit large. I ordered a small and wish I’d gone for the XS, which is unusual for me.
