Trail Recipe: Tropical Oatmeal

Tropical Oatmeal by MONTyBOCA

I don’t know about you, but I can’t do the apple/cinnamon or maple brown sugar oatmeal packets anymore. I’ve just eaten them too many times. But oatmeal is still a great filling staple to pack along for your trips.

Try changing up the fruits and flavors to get excited about oatmeal again. Raid the bulk aisle for a tropical twist. Look for dried mango, pineapple, banana chips, crystallized ginger, and coconut shavings to bring some life back to breakfast.
