We live and breath the outdoors here in the Bitterroot Valley, Montana. Trailheads into the national wilderness are just a few minutes away! We kayak lakes nestled in between snow capped peaks… Western Montana is an adventurers playground and a photographers dream.

I need a comfy cot to lay on when my back hurts. It has stopped me from living my best life. I can hardly sit in chairs, no backpacks, and limited walking. My enjoyment of the great outdoors is being stolen from me. Even just sitting on the waters edge just enjoying the sounds of nature have become hard. I have to lay to keep pressure off my back. I surf the internet now for photos to enjoy and keep flowers and plants to calm my spirit.
I am a 17 year old Boy Scout(life scout, almost to my eagle), and am going to the high adventure base Philmont in about a month. Philmont will be a 12 day, 70-85 mile backpacking trip with many obstacles to overcome. I have been on 50+ Miler backpacking and canoeing trips as well as many car camping and day hiking trips and love being outdoors because it bring me to peace. This is because I don’t have to deal with the hustle of the world. I can enjoy time and bond with some of the greatest friends I’ve made and family as well if my dad comes along on camping, hiking, backpacking, or canoeing trip. We’re based in the southeast with no easy access to mountains to hike and Philmont will be my first ever time being in the Rocky Mountains. Winning this prize would mean a lot to me because I don’t have that much lightweight hiking/backpacking gear because it is so expensive. I don’t have social media to post/link to because my parents won’t let me have it which I’m ok with. This gear would mean so much to me and I hope you consider me an option for winning one of the prizes.

I really love outdoor vitals products, every time I get to go out usually everyone thats behind me or passes me say I love that pack where could I get one I give them the info and hopefully I helped you guys out. There is some other gear I really need, like a nice puffy and a good shelter but with work being slow and everything, family comes first. I have never won anything like this usually work for it and buy what I can.
